began his interest in driving from the early 1960's. He had one of only 50 1963
Chevy Z-11's and ran A/FX class. He also ran A/GAS in a 1948 anglia in 1964 and
1965. In 1978 he had a Ford pulling truck and ran Superstock on the TNT circuit.
In his first year he was the national points champion in 6200# superstock.
He continued to win points the next 6 years.

Irv
won the National Farm Machinery Show championship in 1987 and finished
3rd in 1985 and 2nd in 1986. Decided in September 2001 to build another drag car
to satisfy his desire to win a NHRA event. With the help of Mike Keown and Mike
Pastelny, he built a GT/AA Cavalier that won "best appearing"
in Edgewater, Ohio in its first outing in August 2002. Irv is a graduate
of the Frank Hawley Driving School - March 2002.
